I realize it's been way too long since I updated last, but I am still around. I just haven't found anything pertinent to add to my site lately. My livejournal is active, as usual, if you wish to read of my recent goings-on.

A new set has been added, themed after my EverQuest character, Sylken. I am not entirely happy with the editing I did on the screenshot, but right now it's the best I can do with no good image editing programs to my name.
Something I am happy with is the section of masks I'm putting up on the new sculptures page. I'm way overdue in displaying these. There's only one so far (scanned, as my camera is still messed up), but more to come.

My apologies for the long absence. I've been spending a lot of time job searching and visiting family. However, I've been cooking up some ideas. Sections I am considering adding within the near future: Tarot and Astrology, Dollz, Thrift Store. As mentioned before, new set being considered as well. My life has been pretty busy during the last couple months, so time for updates is minimal. Tonight I have added a couple reviews to the book reviews page. Right now I'm reading House of Leaves, so I'm sure I'll be doing a review on that soon. Summarizing it in one sentence is going to be fun.

A realization: Around this time last year, I was doing the same things I am now - updating my site, playing EverQuest, and attending college. I just pray that something like 9/11 doesn't happen this year. I don't care what politics you may uphold - it was mass murder, and a deep-cutting loss to my nation. To hell with those who make light of it or say that innocent people deserved to die.
Okay, off my momentary soap box to tell you about the updates. I have added a couple links of my pal Jesse's spoken word. It's great stuff, so check it out if ya can. Make sure to turn your speakers on.
In other news, I have created a branching-off site (aforementioned in the last update to this page) - EQ Mysteries. So far it is a bit thin in the content area, but I am adding to it weekly at the least. I am also accepting any help or info any of you EQ-playing readers may have. Email me, dagnabbit.

Heeeeey kids! I added two books to the book review list.
I have also stumbled upon something that may turn into a big project for me. A friend and I were exploring in EverQuest tonight, and found some mysterious things in a zone called the Warrens. I have in the past found some mysterious or unfinished parts of the game, but tonight to dawned on me that other people might want to read or find out about these oddities from bygone days of programming. Thus, I have decided I'm going to make a site about EQ mysteries. It'll be a separate site from this one, but will be linked. As soon as it begins, there will be a corresponding link on this page.

Hey, guess what? I added a page. This one's a list of anime archetypes I have noticed through the years. I ripped it directly off of my old page to which I lost the password and can no longer edit. I have seen several lists come out since this one. At the time I put it together, none came up on search engines anywhere, and I figured I needed to change that. I'm not saying I'm the first with this idea, but damn well close to the first to put it into HTML. Enjoy.

Hot damn. I added a page! It's a page of trifles - namely, a bunch of silly online journal quizzes, but an update nonetheless. Furthermore, no matter how many times I keep saying I will add more EQ text, I mean it every time. To prove it, I'm going to add another page of the silly things right after I finish typing this. Then I will come back after I'm done there and add a link here to the new page. I won't let my divergent thinking get in the way of your semi-linear web surfing. Isn't that sweet of me?

Just fixed a few odds and ends, like the incorrect link on this page to the random tests page, and made the same more readable. Good thing my EQ buddy told me they were broken. Salutations everyone. Chimere's page is up now and Sylken's page is updated. Also a few small tweaks and fixes that no one but myself will notice. I have a bone to pick with you people though. Three pages were still completely red and tan from the old Shakira set. How come none of you emailed me about it, huh?! I thought I had checked all the pages, but apparently some didn't get transferred when I changed the look. If you see an error anywhere on the site, no matter how small or large, email me about it!
No more updates today. I am going through my 100-something screenshots and gleaning funny text from them. I may add another page of those today if I feel thus inspired. If not today, then soon.

Hola. ¿Còmo estas? I feel like...a person who can't think of a suitable simile for what I feel like. Anyhow, I feel bad. BAD, I TELL YOU! I think I have a sinus infection or something equally nasty. In spite of this, here I am updating (sort of) to give the people what they want. A few random tests will be added after I finish my rambling on this page.
Within the next few days, I should be erecting (that means building, you twerps) a page about Chimere, my dark elven enchanter. After much deliberation, which was accomplished while I should have been listening to the government lecture, I have decided that Sylken is the oldest of three daughters of King Thex. The second is Chimere and the third is Torne. More on this family dynamic when I add Chimere's page.
In addition to a page about Chimere, I will also soon be adding more screenshots of all characters mentioned. Plus, I have about 80 (literally) screenshots to go through that have funny text. I'm still debating whether or not a bunch of Dr. Seuss quotes in /ooc is worth it or not. Wise man say, what is funny at the time may not be funny later on.
Oh yeah, I will update Sylken's page today as well as the random tests page. Later on I might add a little review of the Fan Faire that I attended. But until I gather enough energy to do all that stuff, I must say g'bye.

WOW. I mean...whoa! I'm getting almost 50 unique hits a day. That may not seem like too much, but it's up from 5 or 10 a day. It's freakin' amazing, and I'm thrilled. However...
My conscience is getting the better of me. All these hits I'm getting aren't mine. They don't belong to me, they belong to Shakira. If you came across my site searching for lyrics to "Whenever, Wherever," head on to Let's Sing It.com or Shakira.com instead. I'd much rather people be here because they really want to find my site. Hopefully some of you who found this place via a search for Shakira have grown to like the site. Even still, I cannot keep getting hits off of a quote. It is neither honest nor fair.
That being said, let it be known that by tomorrow, the set will change. It'll be a simple one until I get artistically inspired again. Sorry to all for the confusion, and in spite of it, thanks for checking out my site.

It is 2:08 AM right now. Oops, 2:09 now. I'm so tired I can hardly spell. For some reason I am compelled to update this page.
I was pondering a new layout when a wave of indecision hit me like a BOOT TO THE HEAD! (nyaa nyaa). All obscure Dr. Demento references aside, I just don't know what the hell to use for my layout theme. I'm thinking about it. Been thinking about it for a long-ass time and still drawing a blank. Nothing feels 'right' if that's the word I'm grabbing at. Nothing that I can think of gives me that little wash of pre-completion satisfaction that I am craving. As an artist (you want fries with that?) I just can't make myself update my layout until I know for sure what the theme should be. When I know it for sure, there will be no question in my mind. Until then, I will continue to update the content. The layout, however, will remain Shakira-ish until inspiration strikes me. If you're bored, email my sorry ass or read my livejournal.

I just saw "The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring" and it was awesome.
Added some text screenshots on the same named page. They may have been funny exclusively in one of those 'you had to be there' moments, but I still wanted to share them. Soon to come are pics of my characters as seen through the new models.

Updated the me page by rearranging the personality tests I have taken, and by adding one. It's the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and it's the first one I have taken offline. In my opinion, it was pretty accurate.

I am getting about 5 individual hits per day, not counting refreshes. I know there are a few individuals in this world that visit my site on about a weekly basis, and I would like to talk to some of you. C'mon, don't be shy. New set approaching. The theme is Shakira. I don't know how it came to that, but I like some of her songs and I like how she looks, so it just happened that way.
In completely unrelated news, I'm moving back into my mom and stepdad's house because my roommate bailed on me and I'd rather spend my money on college than rent for a place I no longer want. So yeah, this set will take time to get up, seeing as I'll be breaking apart my computer this evening and setting it up tomorrow, maybe. And getting an internet connection to it by the end of this week...BIG maybe.
Must pack more stuff now. Booyaka.

Added some thingies to words. Specifically, I added some livejournal entries and a prose piece under miscellany. The piece is called "I Knew" and I posted it in my portfolio on stories.com a week or so ago. I got a response from a man who had lost his wife at the age of 30. He said the piece brought back many memories to him and touched him deeply. For that reason, I'm proud to share it. I wrote it during a night when I was up way too late worrying about money and life in general, and at first was unsure about the quality. Now that I see how it has affected this one person, I want as many people to see it as possible. This is also going to inspire me to write more, so perhaps you will be seeing more additions here soon.

Well, I'm moved in to my apartment now. I have all my essential things here, although I still have a garage full of books at Mom and Paul's house that need to be unpacked and sorted. Can anyone recommend a good bookstore in the Dallas area that won't rip me off on sellback value?
Other than moving, I have been working, schooling and slowly going into debt. I also drove with my mom to Kentucky and back. For more information, read in my livejournal about it.
Sometime in November, I'm going to do a new layout. Probably mid-month. Until then, I'm going to try and add one thing per day, at least. Most will be writing pieces or art. As always, if you have a piece of writing or and image that you'd like to display, send it to me and I will do so for you. Lots of stuff going on in my journal. As far as things going on here, I've done some reorganizing of the navigation and added a few links to exits. I'm moving into my apartment this weekend, and the last week has been crazy. Soon as possible, I will add some of my better pieces from the journal, as well as some assorted other writings. When I get the digital camera to cooperate, I'm gonna start photographing my sculptures one by one and make myself an online gallery. All in good time, I suppose. Just wish 'good time' was NOW.
